Seascape of Sardinia is incredible. I mean… It is truly incredible. And the very North tip of the island from where you can clearly see Corsica and Maddalena Archipelago… well, this is exceptional and rare beauty.
Sardinia is never disappointing, and every part is a gem of different kind. The part of the island where Valle dell’Erica resort is located would serve that type of clientele which is looking for nature, wild seascape, secluded coves, and as much of azure as one can embrace.

Valle dell’Erica resort is not your Porto Cervo “see and being seen” type of things. It is kind of remote paradise lost in vast lush gardens bordered by tremendous ragged coastline to be discovered. Dozens of secluded small beaches surrounded by sculptural le rocce sarde – unique natural creatures which look more like whimsical sculptures. Nature can be really creative.

I should say that Valle dell’Erica resort is really big in regards of territory (the beautiful one), and I had a bit of hard time to find my ways around. Not that I was suffering from being lost in the middle of such beauty, but it is not the case when you jump to the sea from the terrace of your room. It is a big resort indeed, and it has a lot to offer, but beachfront accommodation is not exactly in the list. Yet the view is always yours, and to enjoy.

As always in Italy, food is important part of experience. I mean… really important when you are in Sardinia. If you have half board included in your rate, you have quite a bit of experience included. Call it Gallurese cuisine (yes, Sardinian cuisine is not solid – it is a big island) and enjoy local ingredients, way of cooking, and amazing characters of those who cook for you. They truly love feeding, and you will love to be fed, trust me. The food is great, no doubts. But the characters are even better.

I was at Valle dell’Erica Resort Thalasso and Spa at the very end of season, and the weather was this and that, but exploring the wild beaches of resort and swimming in the transparent waters (still warm at the end of September) was a treat. There is also traditional sandy beach if you prefer, but I like these ragged secluded coves. At the end, there is a beach for everyone.
