I’ll be honest, I didn’t really stay at Bvlgari Paris, I overnighted on the way from luxury travel show in Marrakech to my home in Toronto, and this explains scarce photos. Truly, I was tired and ready to get home sweet home.
But Bvlgari Paris is a showstopper. It is. Starting from the details of the room which you will explore and admire, even you are dead tired.
They take care of every detail, and you find this care all over. I have no idea how they knew that I don’t drink champagne (most common welcome amenity when you check in at luxury hotel in France) but appreciate good red wine, especially Italian (and ohh… I’m in France, am I not?) Well, it was not first Bvlgari hotel where I was staying, and it might be pigeon post… But I call it magic of perfect service. I’m also not much about sweets but I enjoy a bit of berries. How did they know??
If you want it or not, Bvlgari is always Italy in core, doesn’t matter where you are: London, Paris, or Tokyo. For me it feels as comfortable as for those who travel around the globe from one Four Seasons hotel to another to make sure their beds and bathroom amenities are certain standard. Bvlgari hotels are certain standard too, recognizably highest end Italian. You can actually start speaking Italian with waiters or reception staff even in Beijing. I’m sure there will be someone to catch up with conversation.
My suite was heavenly comfortable. I mean, you find everything you may need on the right place, and quite few items which you didn’t expect to be available, but they are here for you: the high end headphones, cosmetic brushes… Well, if you are luxury traveller, selection of teas and good coffee machine will not surprise you. But the way they organize everything you may need or fancy at Bvlgari Paris is impressive even for seasoned traveller as myself.
As I said, my experience was rather short, but I had time for enjoyable breakfast (my favourite meal of the day). I’m not big fan of a la carte breakfast as it takes time which I normally don’t have when on travel, but this one was good and, no doubts, stylish.
The hotel is simply beautiful. Well, “simply” is a wrong word. It is rather exquisite beautiful.
