Discover Six Senses Ibiza and fall in love. The image of Ibiza island is kind of contradictory. The first what comes to mind is nightclubs, foam parties, young and crazy, that sort of things. Well, Ibiza is much more than this, and it developed a lot towards luxury, sustainable, something for all generations through last decade.

I have close friend living in Ibiza, and she finds it place to be. Well, she is relatively young but far from being crazy of that sort, and for her Ibiza is a comfort zone which has something for everyone. The same for me when I visit.

Well, if you prefer to stay out of the crowd, Ibiza town at evening hours during high season can be a bit overwhelming, the same as Mykonos town sort of things. But it is your choice to come to Ibiza town at peak hours, and if you happened to do it, you may enjoy (as long as your restaurant table is booked in advance).

Yes, it is busy. But there is space for everyone – families, couples, youngsters, elderly. The atmosphere is rather boho style, but as long as you are good with it, feel happy and enjoy. And before the peak hours, the town is not overwhelming – lovely shops, tiny streets, and all you can enjoy walking around Mediterranean sea side town.

And oh… if you wish to combine two words in one (boho-Italian-easy-going and luxury-sustainable-yoga-healthy), you go to Six Senses Ibiza. You’ve heard about this hotel brand, have not you? It is all about sustainable luxury, and I would not complain about low water pressure in the shower as long as it saves the planet. My cup of tea.

The location of Six Senses Ibiza may look remote, but please keep in mind that the island is rather small. It is just 25 min by taxi from Six Senses to Ibiza town even hotel is on another end of the island. And taxi is easily available. There is also little resort village walking distance from the hotel. Not much to offer – few simple bars and casual restaurants by the beach, but quite lively.

Hotel itself is another Six Senses piece of art. Attention to the detail, a good doze of boho style in its luxury bare feet St Tropez kind of things, healthy drinks for breakfast, good Rioja for dinner, amazing spa, sustainable activities, and fantastic sea view.

The beach is for those who like this wild type of beach. I do. It is not your Caribbean white sandy beach. It is a rough rocky beach where you get to crystal clean emerald transparent waters climbing some stones… well, not that bad, I’ve done it numerous times being quite mature woman. Not for small kids, but teenagers would enjoy. Water shoes and snorkelling equipment is provided.

As most of Six Senses hotels, Six Senses Ibiza is all about modern life style: sustainability, sport activities, spa, healthy food at day time, light entertaining, socializing, good glass of wine at evening. On top of Six Senses spa which is goos enough, there is an outside-branded world-class spa and longevity clinic RoseBar available for the guests, integrating cutting-edge science with holistic healing for rejuvenation, sustained health and vitality. Confessing that I didn’t have time to experience, but looks quite impressive and worth a try.

Accommodation is very comfortable indeed, the entry category is Junior Suite. I mentioned low water pressure in the shower, didn’t I?… Well, sustainability is important.

The territory is a lush terrace garden going down to the sea, and sea view is available from virtually every point. Both architectural and landscape design are very organic and true to the place. Anywhere you look, you like it.
