Hotel Sanasaryan Han, Marriott Luxury Collection, is a brand new addition to array of Istanbul 5 star properties. I had chance to sample it recently, and I found it marvellous, and easy to recommend. If it is your first time in the city, if you wish to tick its main landmarks, but not ready to spend as much as Four Seasons Sultanahmet costs, Sanasaryan Han can be great option in the same area where the most iconic attractions of Istanbul are located. Blue Mosque, Spice market, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Karaköy – all walking distance.
The building has quite a bit of history and heritage behind, related to Mgrdich Sanasaryan, Armenian philanthropist and school founder.
Contemporary modern interior design organically blends with historical artifacts and precious book collection, all in perfect harmony, and quite instagram-worthy, if I can use this terminology to describe photogenic, impressive, yet comfortable and welcoming interior design of Sanasaryan Han. It gives you perfect feeling of being in the very heart of Istanbul in the most comfortable way.
I was a bit concern of not having any outdoor space in the room (I love my balcony or terrace when I stay in hotel, especially in warm climate), but lovely and cozy public patio mostly compensated this little issue for me, and having historical center of Istanbul as your backyard is a huge bonus too.
Please feel free to contact me for rates and booking, and enjoy Marriott Stars preferred partners’ benefits.
