This property is in location which needs to be explained because it is somehow in and out one of my favourite cities in the world, Florence. In, because you are just 10-15 minutes ride from historical city centre by complimentary shuttle bus. Out, because staying at Villa la Massa, you would never believe bustle of the city is just steps away. Peaceful countryside, calm river Arno, typical rolling hills of Tuscany, and no reminder of modern life around.
I was staying at Villa la Massa few times, and I hope to be back one day soon. Somehow it speaks with my inner man (or, well, rather woman) in very soothing language, calms me down and inspires for slow life and deep thinking. Some places have this priceless quality.
Villa la Massa is a sister property of worldwide famous noble Villa d’Este on the shores of lake Como. It is a humble sister, which can be described as well kept secret or hidden gem. Imagine staying in beautiful historical estate surrounded by gardens, roses, vines and pastoral landscapes with easy reach to treasures of Florence but still in countryside. I love it, and I’m sure there should be many who would appreciate it as well as I do.
